The Year 9 Immunisations final booster jabs have been moved and will now take place on 20th February. A Catch up session will also run on 7th March.
Year 11 students are expected to attend a subject specific intervention day on 2 January. Students must arrive for 10am and are not expected to wear school uniform.

Last Friday, the Year 9 GCSE Music class visited the Horniman Museum in Forest Hill to explore their vast instrument collection and to take part in a Gamelan workshop.
GCSEs in England are changing. The courses and exams have been changed to ensure that young people have the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in the 21st century. The new GCSEs will ensure that students leave school prepared to work or further study. They cover more challenging content and are designed to match standards in the strongest performing education systems elsewhere in the world.

On Tuesday evening, the final recital of the Ashcroft Poetry Competition 2017 took place in the drama studio. Student from Years 7, 8 and 9 stepped into the spotlight and performed a mixture of their favourite work by published poets and their self-penned poems in front of an audience of parents and teachers
